Get to Know The Role

As the Area Manager, you are responsible for the overall centre operations. You are in charge of leading all centre staff, mainly Sales and Experience teams to ensure top-notch service for our Members and to make sure that monthly set sales targets are achieved. You will also work closely with Head Office teams to plan, execute and review sales, marketing and service activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Embody Wall Street English Core Values (Family, Integrity, Excellence) and instil positive, collaborative, hospitable culture through role modelling.
  • Improve current or identify new practices to deliver the best Member experience; improve the Member attendance, engagement and satisfaction.
  • Is responsible for the achievement of Center’s revenue by leading the team through various customer acquisition channels, including referral and retention of current Members.
  • Generate fresh and intentional initiatives to improve business processes and overall performance.
  • Ensure a respectful, safe, pleasant working and learning environment for all Centre staff and Members.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports to CEO/Head of Sales
  • Improve brand awareness and social media presence through online and offline activities.

Required Characteristics

  • Fluency in English, verbal and written, is mandatory
  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Customer service orientated and detail-oriented
  • Min. 5 years’ sales experience and 2 years team management experience (premium B2C product preferred)
  • Experience in managing a result/target oriented business to drive profitability
  • Experience in managing a business (Profit &Loss) and used to work under sales target
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with cultural sensitivity to deal with diverse nationalities
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven skills
  • Strong people management, leadership and project management skills
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across all levels and with external vendors
  • Creative thinker, team player and “can do” personality
  • Entrepreneurship’ characteristics
