Key Account Manager

Get to know the role:

Key Account Manager  is responsible for delivering win-win outcomes and maximum value by strategically managing and nurturing relationships with key account clients who contribute significantly to the company’s  revenue and growth.

The Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to clients in a timely manner
  • Serve as the link of communication between key clients and internal teams
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by clients and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics

The Must Haves:

  • Good at relationship-building (good listener, asks good questions)
  • Creativity, Intelligent and Innovation: Generates new and creative approaches based on client’s pain points
  • Strong presentation skills (writing a deck and presenting)
  • High self-initiative, proactively driven to achieve targets
  • Have experience in Key Account Management
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Good command of spoken, written and reading in English
  • Flexible and able to travel across your region to visit clients
